Campus Certosa is one of the main student residences in Milan, consisting of 136 units and able to offer 293 beds at affordable rents or under special agreements with a number of Milan universities. All the units include a place to study and there are various communal areas within the structure:
– study room:
– relaxation/lunch room;
– gym;
– communal kitchen;
– reception area
The residence is situated near the Bovisa campus of the Politecnico di Milano and a few minutes away from the new -trade fair district of Rho/Pero and the Niguarda, Buzzi and Sacco hospitals. Campus Certosa is well-served by public transport (the cross-city railway and surface public transport) and is easy to reach by car thanks to its proximity to the expressways.
For over ten years the structure has been the point of reference for Politecnico students, as well as being the favoured destination of international scholarship students.
The management of the student residence is entrusted to In-Domus S.r.l., a company set up by FHS to manage student residences.
Right from the initial planning phase, Campus Certosa was designed, from an architectural and technological point of view, with the objective of realizing an innovative building that was able to offer maximum comfort to its residents, including the offer of supplementary residential services. Today the building still represents one of the most interesting examples in the Milan area. The complex consists of two ten-storey tower-blocks joined by a central body inside which are located some of the main communal spaces. On the ground floor of the tower-blocks there are the study rooms, the gym and the relaxation areas.
The student residence has been in operation since 4 September 2005.

Investire S.g.r. and In-Domus S.r.l. have signed an agreement with Milan Municipality to guarantee the availability of at least 70% of the beds in the student residence to out-of-town students at affordable rents.
